Being Silly with the kids

Here is Caleb flying down the slide at the kid playland at the mall. He loved it.

I was at Walmart earlier and saw these teeth. When I came home from work this morning I opened the door to the girls with these teeth in. The girls couldn't stop laughing and neither could I.

Happy Birthday Chloe

It is hard to believe that today Chloe turned 6 years old. What a special blessing she is to us and a great big sister. Here we are singing Happy Birthday.

We were at the Triangle Town Center Mall at the kiddie playland. The kids loved it. Here Chloe is being a frog.

What a sweet picture.

Chloe got to pick where to eat, so we ended up at Mexican Restaurante. Unsure is that's how it is spelled or not, but it was yummy.

Here is Chloe from this morning opening one of her gifts. Yeah a new coloring book with glitter paper.

We had a great day together and are getting ready for our vacation which we leave for on Sunday. We are headed to the Outer Banks area at Corolla Beach. Everyone is getting so excited.

Happy Birthday Caitlyn

Today was Caitlyn Faiths 4th birthday. What a blessing she is to our family. She is so sweet spirited. Here are a few pics of our day together. Caitlyn got to pick where we went out for dinner and so we went to one of our favorite special places Fugisan, a Japanese restaurant here in Raleigh. The kids always love it.

Here is the gang. Ready for some good food.

Here is a shot of the yummy food cooking.

Caitlyn even gets excited over the broth.

After we ate we headed to Target and they were having some safety kids explosion night or something like that. There was an Army helicopter there, the kids climbed aboard and thought it was so cool, especially Caleb. He loved it.

We then headed home where we had cookie cake. Caitlyn said mommy made the best cake ever. Thanks Walmart!!

Here Caitlyn is showing you how old she is today. I can't believe she is 4, boy time sure does fly.
That's what our day consisted of. We have been pretty busy lately. Dale was away at IA camp last week and my mom was in town to help out then we took grandma home this past weekend. Now Chloe will be turning 6 on Friday and Sunday we leave for THE BEACH!! Yeah we can't wait. Will post more in a few days.

A night away

Dale and I went out of town for the night this weekend. We had an awesome couple watch the kids and we went to Mooresville, NC. We stayed the night in a hotel with a king size bed (I loved it) and went on a dinner cruise on Lake Norman. The food was awesome and we had a blast. It was nice to just be the 2 of us even though I really missed the kids.
This is our boat that we were on, it was called The Catawba Queen. Dale and I on the boat. Here I am by the captains area.
We were being silly and taking pictures of ourselves. This one turned out pretty good.
Dale and I on the boat.
The boat at night with all its lights lit up.
We had a great time and look forward to doing it again. I would definitely reccommend it to anyone. Well back to the grind, Caleb is crying :) and I love it!!
Thank you hunny for an amazing weekend.

Fun time on the Fourth

Today we had a busy day. We got up after actually getting to sleep in a little bit, then we cleaned the house. We had a couple of friends come over that we had went to college with and had lunch with them. After going to the store we went swimming and cooked hot dogs on the grill. Then finally we headed to Rolesville to see the fireworks and meet up with the Joyces. We had a blast.
Here is Dale with Caitlyn, Madeline, Chloe and Caleb
Caleb with his Thomas the train shirt on. He has just really started getting into him. Aunt Tricia bought him this outfit for his birthday. Here the girls are posing for their pictures of their outfits. Chris and Stephnie couldn't believe how they just would pose for me. I told them they have had many pics taken from their mommy. They are getting to be pros at this. Marlene, Dale's mom made her dress. I am going to attempt to get all 3 in their outfits made by grandma tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. It never works when I want it to.
Chloe sporting her outfit. We had a great time watching the fireworks. We got more smiles tonight than last. Super mommy remembered the ear plugs and all was well. Caitlyn said they were perfect fireworks cause they didn't hurt her ears. We got home surprisingly fast even with the traffic, only to be getting out of the car and realize Caitlyn didn't have her favorite rainbow flip flops on. She started crying instantly that we had to go back to Rolesville to get them. So Daddy took her back with a flashlight while I stayed at the house with Caleb who we put to bed and Chloe laid on the couch awaiting news on whether or not they found them. I got a call and at last Super daddy had found them. He said Caitlyn had the biggest smile and was crying because she was so happy. So that was how our day went. It was a great time spent with my family and I am so blessed. Thank you God for giving me my beautiful family.
